What is RPM?A cost-effective artificial intelligence (AI) based remote monitoring solution to simplify patient monitoring and keep you connected to your caregivers. VIP Remote Health provides a more holistic view of a patient's health over time, increases visibility into patient adherence to treatment, and enables timely intervention before a costly episode of care. Telemedicine can use wireless or wired measurement devices. These typically include blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, glucose meters, and Bluetooth scales. Providers can use PMR to collect patient health data, including blood pressure, constant heart rate, heart rate variability, vital signs, blood glucose and weight. Heart rate variability, vital signs, weight, blood glucose, blood oxygen level, and physical activity. Specialties that use the RPM include internal medicine, primary care, nephrology, cardiology, pulmonology, endocrinology, gastroenterology and bariatrics. Some of the most common conditions that can be managed with RPM include hypertension, obesity, congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma and diabetes.

How RPM works?Remote patient monitoring combines advanced sensor technology, cellular technology and integrated communication devices to provide seamless care. VIP Remote Patient Monitoring software provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring a patient's vital signs and receiving automatic alerts should they cross a predetermined threshold. The physician sets a threshold value, which is an upper and lower limit for wellness parameters such as heart rate variability (HRV), blood pressure, blood oxygen levels and pulse rate. The WB-100 smart health bracelet records wellness measurements throughout the day on the VIP Health Monitor mini-tablet/phone. The VIP Health Monitor allows the physician to create a safe zone and update emergency contact information, so that any time a wearer leaves the safe zone, an instant alert is triggered. Next, the HIPAA-compliant physician dashboard notifies the physician that the threshold value has been exceeded. It also allows the physician to access the patient's complete alert history, supplemental care notes and clinical notes recorded by the remote patient monitoring system. Data is secure and backed up regularly. Digital technologies are at the forefront of healthcare delivery. With our smart health bracelet, VIP Health Monitor app, and HIPAA-compliant medical dashboard, we provide emerging technologies that enable continuous ambulatory monitoring of vital signs on a daily basis. Ultimately, it's a more progressive way to manage healthcare. Remote patient monitoring provides flexibility in sharing health data with remotely based physicians for consultation, saving time and money while reducing readmission rates.

What are the benefits of RPM?Improved access to healthcare - Remote patient monitoring ensures that patient care increases the level of accessibility and helps build an ongoing relationship between patients, caregivers, physicians and their families. Reduced readmission rates - VIP remote patient monitoring allows a provider to continue tracking a patient's health data once they have been discharged to home or a care facility, reducing readmission rates. Cost-effective solutions - The PIPEDA-compliant Physician Dashboard Portal provides remote access to your patient information. The recorded wellness matrix can alert the physician to take immediate action. Thus, remote patient monitoring provides quick data and response that saves money.
